The Freckled Frog

The Freckled Frog is an Australian company focused on fun and innovative educational toys. It began in Melbourne, 2009, when Victoria Reading couldn’t find the right toys for her sons, so she made her own. The boys remain a part of the design testing process, letting their mum know what work and what doesn’t. Every toy is designed to promote imaginative play, creativity and self-exploration, learning, and happiness. The Freckled Frog toys can be found in classrooms in over 25 countries around the world, and their goal remains to create toys that are open-ended, gender neutral, and promote inclusivity and cultural diversity. They now produce over 150 products that are simple, yet innovative and fun. Safety is the highest priority, and each product goes through a rigorous testing process. Before a product goes on the market, it must first pass the F.U.S.S.E (Fussy) test — Fun, Unique, Safe, Strong, and Educational. All wood used in production is sustainable, with FSC certification.
